A Pilgrimage tour to Kodumudi

Kodumudi is a small town in Erode, 40 km away from Erode city, in the State  of Tamil Nadu.  This place is also known as Thiruppandikodumudi. The popular  Magudeswar Temple  is located here on the bank of  River Kaveri,  which is coming from the northwest and turns to the east at Kodumudi. Standing before the temple, it is so beautiful to watch the wide Kaveri River flowing untiringly. The main features of this temple ·           Kodumudi is the abode of the three moorthies  – Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu and Lord Brahma. An Evening in an Orphanage

I was invited for a birthday party of my little friend Aniket. It was not a birthday party like other little children. A cake was cut at home with his friends and later the celebration was in an Orphanage. I was one of the few friends  who were invited for the dinner. The dinner was with the children of the Orphanage. Every year his birthday is celebrated this way, said his mother. Aniket Aniket's parents with the staff and invitees                                         The children of this institution were very happy to pray for Aniket and to enjoy their special dinner with  him.  They were mentally disabled, coming from poor families, and some with no one to care for them.  The children belonged to different age groups.
